Polynesian-born Ta’u Pupu’a was a defensive lineman for the Cleveland Browns under coach Bill Belichick and then a player for the Baltimore Ravens. After his injuries, he sought a return to his early love of music. The Julliard-trained tenor has performed over 20 roles with opera companies including the San Francisco Opera, La Scala, Birmingham Opera (U.K.), Baltimore Opera and more. Unique in the opera world, he will share his story, insights and incredible voice.
