This charming fable is about a toymaker, two of his doll creations Paul and Pauline, and a magician who wants to steal them. The mechanical dolls wish they were real (“If only I could cry, how happy I would be!”) and discover that “love is the key” that brings them to life.

Does absence make the heart grow fonder? A test of true love plays out among two military officers who stage an absence to test their fiancées. Will the women fall for their “new” suitors as the opera’s title (“All women do it”) suggests? Join us as we bring Mozart’s satirical humor and ravishing score to Lake Coeur d’Alene for a sunset cruise. Performance in the round. Sung in English with English Dialogue. Single tickets go on sale June 22. Seating preferences will be collected at checkout. Six people per table.

INO’s annual gala promises an exotic evening where East meets West on the banks of Hayden Lake.  In honor of our upcoming fall production of Madame Butterfly, this elegant evening features Asian-fusion fare and wine selected by Hayden Lake Country Club’s acclaimed Chef Brett.  Enjoy both live and silent auctions of a highly curated collection of luxury goods, trips, and fine wines.  Dance the night away under the stars with sounds by DJ Daniel Connely.

Puccini’s music is heart-wrenching as it builds between hope and anticipation, betrayal and despair.
